By agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer in nickel grades N-0 and N-1Аu determine the actual content of manganese, aluminum, calcium, tantalum, tellurium, thallium, selenium, silver, chromium, molybdenum, tungsten, boron, vanadium, zirconium, titanium, gallium, niobium and strontium methods certified in accordance with the established procedure.
By agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer, nickel grade N-0 may contain: phosphorus - no more than 0.0005%, cadmium - no more than 0.0002%, lead - no more than 0.0002%.
By agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer, nickel grade N-3 may contain: nickel and cobalt in total - not less than 98.7%, including cobalt - no more than 0.50%; carbon - no more than 0.03%; sulfur - no more than 0.025 %; copper - no more than 0.55%. 5 The “-” sign in the chemical composition columns indicates that the impurity is not regulated.

The mass of the ingot should be no more than 25 kg.
Ingots must be free of slag and foreign inclusions. Ingots must be deburred.
The size of cathode sheets and plates, if necessary, is specified in the order.
The edges of cathode sheets of nickel grades N-0, N-1Au, N-1u and N-1 must be cut off on four sides.
The ears of the cathode sheets are cut along the edge of the cathodes.
By agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer, on cathode on nickel sheets of grades N-1Аu, N-1u and N-1, it is allowed to cut only the ears along lines of the top edge of the cathodes and do not cut off the edges completely. At cathode dendritic and sponge-like edges are cut off on N-2 nickel sheets.
Trimming the edges of cathode sheets of grades N-0, N-1Аu, N-1u, N-1 and N-2, by agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer, supply without remelting as nickel grades N-2, N-3 or N-4.
3.10 On the surface of sheets, strips and plates of nickel grades N-0, N-1Au, N-1 y and N-1, salt deposits are not allowed, included in the electrolyte, and hydroxides.
On the surface of sheets, strips or plates of nickel grade N-2 there is no deposits of salts and hydroxides are allowed on more than 10% of the total area surface of a sheet, strip or plate.
For nickel grades N-0, N-1Аu and N-1u growths with a height of no more than 5 mm are allowed, for nickel N-1 - no more than 10 mm.
On the surface of sheets, strips or plates of nickel grades N-0, N-1Au, N-1 y and N-1 recesses of any diameter are allowed in an amount not exceeding 5 pieces. on a square with a side of 25 mm.
If there are more than 5 recesses. on the area of a square with a side of 25 mm, the total area of the surface of a sheet, strip or plate with recesses should not exceed 10% area of sheet, strip or plate for nickel grades N-0, N-1Аu and Н-1 у and 20% area of sheet, strip or plate for nickel grade N-1.
Delamination of nickel plates of grades N-0, N-1Аu and N-1 у is not allowed.
