Ferrotungsten FeW70

Ferrotungsten is an alloying alloy of iron and tungsten with a minimum mass fraction of tungsten of 70.0% and a maximum mass fraction of tungsten of 85.0%, obtained by reduction. Extremely refractory, chemically resistant under standard conditions.

Ferrotungsten is one of the most important alloying elements in the production of steel grades. Ferrotungsten has a good effect on the properties of steels at high temperatures, increases heat resistance and resistance to tempering. Ferrotungsten also increases the hardness and wear resistance of alloys, increases the strength and yield limits of steel with a slight decrease in elongation.
