Ferromolybdenum is an alloying alloy of iron and molybdenum obtained by reduction.
Used in the steelmaking and foundry industries as an alloying element to impart homogeneous fine-crystalline steel structure; improves the hardenability and hardenability of steel, increases its viscosity, eliminates the temper brittleness of chromium-nickel steel, helps preserve the properties of steel at high
temperatures; the addition of ferromolybdenum to cast iron increases its strength and wear resistance.
